The Sylk Co. is company dedicated to hand poured candles made of natural soy wax, scented with premium fragrance oils, burns clean down the middle, and are wicked using only cotton core wicks (metal free). The aromatic scents of our soy candles will fill your home and spirit with tranquility, soothing energy, softness and comforting warmth. Our richly soy candles are elegant and beautiful while scenting an entire room. You can expect our delightful fragrant candles to last approximately 55 to 60 hours long, when is burn 4 to 6 hours at a time.
Every candle is hand-poured, hand-labeled, hand-wrapped and packaged by us in small batches. We test candles daily from each batch to ensure that every The Sylk Co. candle burns evenly and cleanly. When our candles burn properly, the effort, passion, and ingredients that we put into them have been worth it.
Why Soy Wax?
# Cleaner Burning under normal burning conditions, candles made with soy wax produce dramatically less soot than traditional waxes. Lower soot levels help maintain pure air quality and reduce home maintenance issues associated with soot deposits.
# Improved Fragrance Superior fragrance-holding qualities produce candles with a pleasing cold scent. Plus, the aroma travels further when burning.
# Better Value Candles made with soy waxes burn slower and last longer than paraffin, giving our consumers more value for their candle dollars.
There is a number of reasons why soy wax candles are preferable to paraffin wax candles:
# Soy wax candles do not emit toxins while burning.
# Biodegradable (Eco-Friendly)
# Burning time is 30% to 50% longer than paraffin candles.
# They emit little or no soot.
# Soy wax candles will not stain your walls, curtains or furniture unlike petroleum byproducts.
# Soy candles are from renewable resources supporting US farmers and our own economy, unlike petroleum which creates further US dependency on foreign oil.
# These candles burn cooler and slower than paraffin, which burns hotter and faster.
# They are water soluble.
# Soy wax candles hold scent better than any other type of wax.
